Black Targaryen

I am toying with the idea of offering to draw portraits of people on an asoiaf fancom as versions of their houses. And I thought "What if I'm asked to draw someone as a Targaryen and they have very dark skin?" Could I draw them with recognisable Targaryen traits? Purple eyes, silver hair - all that gubbins.

And the answer is yes, of course I can! And why not? And the thought, once thought, had to be drawn - a black Targaryen!

So here is a totally made up yet none the less perfectly plausible rendering of a black Targ. The son of a Targ Prince and a Dornish princess from the far south of Dorne.

I'd originally planned to draw him in plate armour, but somehow he ended up semi-nekkid (ohnoes!) Just imagine he's visiting his mother's family down south and is wearing something loose and cooling.

Drawing a black Lannister with the classic Lann traits might be more tricky - but fun!

has pointed out that this would make a good rendition of Rhaego. I'd totally forgotten him - the Prince that Never Was.

Looks like I should get my finger out and draw Rhaego next!
